Email vyoutech@gmail.com and we will get back to you. If you are writing about an order, tell us the restaurant and roughly when you were there — that is enough for us to find it.

Ordering at a table

I tapped the card and nothing happened.
Hold the top of your phone against the card for a second or two rather than touching and pulling away. On iPhone the screen needs to be on and unlocked. If a notification appears but the page does not open, tap the notification itself. Older iPhones without background NFC reading need the Control Centre NFC scanner opened first.
A grey card appeared and took a while to load.
That is the App Clip downloading. It is a small download that happens once; the card fills in when it finishes. A slow restaurant Wi-Fi connection is the usual reason it takes longer than expected.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Tapping the card opens an App Clip, which runs without installing the full app and is removed by iOS on its own later. Installing the full app is optional and mainly worth it if you visit often.
My order has not arrived.
Orders go straight to the restaurant's kitchen screen and point-of-sale system. Once placed, it is with their staff — ask your server, who can see the same ticket you sent. Anything we can do from our side is limited to confirming it was received.
Can I pay in the app?
No. Check Please does not take payment. There is no card entry and no in-app purchase; you settle with your server exactly as you normally would.
“Preview on your table” will not open.
That feature needs camera permission and a device that supports augmented reality, and not every dish has a 3D model. Nothing from your camera is recorded or sent anywhere — see the privacy policy. Declining the permission does not affect ordering.
I want my information deleted.
Email us with the restaurant and roughly when you visited. To stop loyalty card updates immediately, delete the card from Apple Wallet.

For restaurant staff

I cannot sign in.
Staff accounts are created by your manager, not self-registered. If your email is not recognised, ask whoever set up your venue to add you. PINs are set per person and can be reset from the manager dashboard.
Tickets are not appearing on the pass.
The pass screen needs a station assigned — kitchen or bar — and shows only tickets routed to that station. Check the station selector first. If the floor is loading but empty, confirm the shift has been started.
A table shows the wrong guests.
Table sessions close when a meal ends, and sessions left open are marked abandoned automatically. A manager can close a session from the floor view to clear it immediately.
We need to change the menu, prices, or table cards.
Menu, pricing and table setup are managed for your venue rather than edited in the staff app. Email us and we will make the change.

Reporting a problem

Tell us what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead. For anything on a specific table or order, the restaurant name and approximate time is the fastest way for us to find it. If something looks like a security issue, write to the same address and say so in the subject line.
